Patient Education:

At Bay Denture Clinic, educating patients about the limitations of dentures as mechanical substitutes for living tissues is a continuing process from the initial patient contact until adjustments are completed. Such instructions include, but not limited to the following key points: Individuality of patients, Appearance, mastication, speech with new dentures as well as oral hygiene. Because the education of patients is so critical to the success of new dentures, we help our patients become aware that denture appliances are not permanent, the mouth changes, and most important, the care they provide themselves may be a deciding factor in the success they experience with their new dentures.

Why a Denturist?

The Denturist is the oral heath professional who has the qualification to construct removable full/partial dentures to replace missing teeth, starting from the oral examination to the insertion of the dental appliances and the follow-up after the insertion. It is not required to have a referral to see the denturist. The denturist is a licensed oral health practitioner. Stressing, having all kinds of dentures made in a denture clinic with a lab on the premises can reduce the cost and the time of treatment.

If you are a new patient willing to acquire a prosthesis that would replace your missing tooth/teeth, or renew your existing one, please call us today at 416-260-9191 or contact us here to schedule a consultation appointment exclusively for you.
